The Rule of Women is the law in Femina. Males are permitted there, they are even recruited to come but only on the understanding that they are entering a world where the power of women is absolute! Any male who enters Femina will become a slave for the remainder of his life.
Some are brought to Femina by the dominate women to whom they have surrendered in the outside world. Many more apply to come on their own, knowing very well that they will be enslaved, broken, trained and sold to a member of the Superior Gender. For the rest of their lives, they will be the chattel property of some Mistress. They will be bought and sold as if they were any other piece of property and will have no say in the matter. In Femina, they will always be slaves, the property of some Lady who will do with them as she pleases! That is a male's only place in this world and he must accept it or suffer the consequences!

I agree with a prior critique. It is actually a good story! But writing craftsmanship? Ugh! The repetition for awhile was good, then tolerable, then enough already. For this I couldn't give it a 5 or even a 4.However I did want to keep reading it and honestly speaking,I did enjoy it.Should the author contemplate a sequel and sharpen up her writing, she's got a hit.Product details

I liked this book, but I was taken out of the story many times, by the appalling lack of proofreading, and the need for editing. I reported more than fifty instances of mis-spelling, bad or absent punctuation, and utilization of the wrong word. There were more; I gave up.
Robert, also known as slave 25C and later slave 4, was a free male, who had the misfortune to offend Catherine Majors when they were both young, by refusing her offer of a marriage collar and permanent slavery under her. Years later, the political situation changes, and she is able to have him captured and enslaved, rather than permitting him to legally emigrate from Femina, their country. The rest of the book details mostly the rantings of the female overseers, the submissive and regretful thoughts of Robert, and the vicious thoughts of the Mistress Citizens.
There is the kernel here for a terrific story, but the book needs to be put into the hands of a professional editor, and some juice needs to be added to it. The sexual descriptions are rather boring. The author warms up a bit in describing various whippings, and positively shines when describing fashionable slave garments. Many promises are made indicating an intent for future books in this series. If they are written, I hope that the author will take my comments into account. They are well-meant; this book could be so much better. The basic premise is excellent, but I am a woman, and I was disgusted by the women in this book. More sex, fewer repetitions of the comments that men deserve nothing better (we get it), more details, less ranting.
One more thing. This is a massively disfunctional method of handling slaves. They are so encumbered by chains, shackles, hobbles, high heels, hoods, clip clops, blinders, ball gags and leashes that it is massively slow and inefficient to have a slave do much of anything. All this does is reinforce the sense of humiliation and worthlessness the slaves feel. Femina is described as an offshore money-holding (laundering?) island. If their economy were to actually need to support itself, it would fall. This is bothersome, second to the bad spelling and punctuation. The society is not fully-realized. It needs some more work.
